The Ultimate Wish List For Car Enthusiasts [2021 Edition]

October 30, 2021

Making a wish list during the holiday season has been a long-running tradition that is—let's be honest—beneficial for both the gifter and the receiver.

How are you supposed to know what your car-obsessed significant other (SO) or friend wants during the holidays?!

But, when it comes to car enthusiasts, our wish lists can be, well, specific, and unrealistic in some (most) cases.

Don't get all worked up though because there are plenty of badass gifts that won't cost you your entire month's paycheck and are guaranteed to be something they'll love.

The best part? We have 'em all.

Car Enthusiast Gear

As a kid, getting clothes was the epitome of a disappointing present.

When you grow up and the reality of being an independent adult sets in—aka bills, car repairs, and groceries—you learn to appreciate getting clothes as gifts. That's one less trip to the store to get socks, sweaters, and t-shirts—sick!

All this to say that car enthusiast apparel and accessories make great gifts for car-obsessed people.

Aside from the cool car designs on the apparel itself, car apparel is perfect for many occasions, whether it be working on cars in the garage, heading to car meets or shows, or cruising around with friends.

We have tons of different car apparel sporting unique designs created by real enthusiasts. From sweaters to t-shirts, hats, socks, wallets, jet tags, and stickers, you can dress up yourself, your keys, and your toolbox with cool car enthusiast gear!

Car Cleaning Supplies

The go-to gift for most car people is car cleaning supplies.

This gift will literally never go out of style. I can testify to this as a car enthusiast myself. I mean, no matter how hard any enthusiast tries to keep their ride spotless, it's inevitable that their wheels will get dirty, or better yet, a bird decides to sh*t right in the middle of their hood—it happens.

Plus, the possibilities for car cleaning products are endless, from wheel cleaner to car polish, car wash foam, and so much more. You can even get complete kits with a little bit of everything if you don't know where to start.

Even if they have a decent inventory of cleaning supplies, I can't imagine any car enthusiast turning down wheel cleaner or car polish backups. Tell them it can be their backup to their backup.

We have a solid selection of car cleaning supplies, including a complete car cleaning kit with our High Foam Car Wash, Jet Black Rubber Renew, Quick Exterior Detailer, Mirror Finish Metal Polish, a wash mitt, microfiber cloths, and so much more!

Believe it or not, underglow has made a pretty epic comeback over the last few years.

And if the person you're gifting even remotely enjoyed the Fast and Furious movies, they will appreciate some underglow for their build too.

See, underglow used to make an appearance only on show-oriented builds or beginner enthusiast rice-builds, but underglow is seen on builds of all sorts. There is a tasteful way to add underglow to a car!

Our underglow kit is super user-friendly and uses a mobile Bluetooth controller (or an RF remote), so you can switch up the colors with the click of a button!

Car Decals and Stickers

Another super easy but cool gift to give to car enthusiasts is car decals/stickers.

This includes windshield banners and other sticker decals that can be placed anywhere on a car.

If your SO or friend is a fan of the Fitment Industries team, we have a few options that can add a nice touch to any build.

And if the garage looks a little bare, we also have a sick 2'x8' show banner that will easily spice up their car working space and let everyone know they stand with the Fitment Industries crew!

Lug Nuts

You really can't go wrong with a set of lug nuts because every car with aftermarket wheels needs them for obvious reasons.

Before buying aftermarket lug nuts, the only information you need to know is the thread pitch and the lug count (4 or 5 lugs)

You can spice things up with a set of multi or single-colored lugs, or you can stick with a classic black or polished set of lugs. If your SO or friend's car would rock a set of spiked lug nuts, we have those too!

If they already have new lug nuts, you could set them up with new valve stem caps instead. It's the small details that bring a build together.

Suspension Bushings

This one might sound weird initially, but suspension bushings are a super easy and functional modification that would make a great gift for any function-over-form car enthusiast.

New suspension bushings would make a great gift even for show-oriented car enthusiasts since OEM bushings eventually wear out over time.

We have a collection of polyurethane bushings from brands like Energy Suspension that offer more responsive handling on the street and track. And since poly bushings outlast and outperform your standard OEM bushings, this gift will last!

You can pick up individual polyurethane bushings starting as low as $11 or a complete set of bushings for your SO or friend's year, make, and model starting around $100.

Lowering Springs

Upgrading stock suspension with lowering springs is the most affordable way to lower a car if you want to do it the right way. And a quality set of lowering springs only costs a few hundred $$, so you won't be out too much cash.

Some kits offer as lower as a 2" drop in ride height that improves handling without sacrificing the ride quality.

Brands like Eibach, Tein, Megan Racing, KW Suspension, and ST Suspension offer tons of quality lowering spring options that fit anyone's budget.

Plus, we offer free shipping to the lower 48 states, so you don't have to fork out more money to get it to your doorstep.

With our suspension finder tool, finding the right lowering springs for your SO or friend's car is simple. All you need to do is enter the year, make, and model of their car, and we'll pull all our kits that fit that specific YMM.

If you really want to give a special gift, lowering springs are a solid option.

Body Kits/Widebody kits

If you can stretch your budget slightly, body kits/widebody kits are super popular modifications that many enthusiasts aspire to do but often have a hard time pulling the trigger themselves. But, this doesn't have to be expensive for you.

We have quite a few affordable options to start with, like fender flares, spoilers, and even engine covers.

These types of modifications make a massive difference in the way a car looks and can even help when it comes to wheel and tire fitment.
