What Are Directional Wheels?
Before we dive into the craftsmanship of Deco Directional, let's make a distinction between Deco Directional and directional because there is a difference.
Directional wheels have a left and right side that swoop or sweep depending on what side of the car you put them on. One side of the car will be spinning in the direction the car is moving and the other side will spin in the opposite direction.
The big difference is that directional wheels don't actually mirror each other.

What Does Deco Directional Mean?
Deco Directional is coined by Artisa to describe their directional wheel design, but it's done the right way.
In a nutshell, Deco Directional means that each wheel on a car turns in the same direction. So the wheels on the right side of the car mirror the wheels on the left side of the car.
To achieve this Deco Directional design, both sides of the car have their own wheel molds with their own blueprints. That's crazy if you think about it.

The average wheel is drawn up online and simply replicated for each side of the car and directional wheels collectively don't spin in the same direction. But Artisa took it 10 steps further and literally designed each wheel individually to achieve their Deco Directional design and function.
Using their ArtFormed technology, they were able to achieve this mirrored, Deco Directional design while still making their wheels incredibly lightweight. And when I say lightweight, I'm not exaggerating. Their lightest wheel, the Titan, weighs only 18.7lbs.

It is one of the lightest and strongest directional wheels ever made.
Artisa is able to achieve this by using A356+ aluminum alloy, back-pad shaving, barrel grain realignment, spoke millwork, and a bowl cut hub design.
Essentially, Artisa removed unnecessary weight without sacrificing the wheel's strength or durability.

Not only are these wheels Deco Directional and lightweight, they clear big brakes while offering an immense amount of concavity with their designs. For all you STI and GTR owners, this is music to your ears.
Why It's So Special
If you haven't already guessed or determined for yourself why Deco Directional is oh so special, here's why.
It's undeniable that the looks of Artisa's Deco Directional wheels are one of the biggest reasons why it's special. It is mesmerizing to watch all the wheels turn in the same direction. And that's what Artisa is all about.

The mission of Artisa is to create. To demand a presence. To provide a function. To ignite a passion.
I don't mean the actual face of the wheel, although that's obviously a special thing too, but the fact that the every. single. wheel. turns the same direction.
Now that's special.
Not only is the memorization of Deco Directional wheels extremely special, but high quality directional wheels also only use to be available in the rotary forged wheel market.
Not every platform could take advantage of those directional wheels whether it was due to price (which is outrageous sometimes), sizing, weight, no big brake clearance, or purely due to the design.
Artisa ArtFormed Deco Directional wheels literally check off every one of those boxes.
Big brakes? Done. Lightweight? Got that. Sizing? Adding more as I write. Price? Go see for yourself.
Last but certainly not least, we have the other side of the wheel designs, that is the actual face of the wheel. These wheels are unique in their spoke design, number, and concavity.

The Elder, for example, has an unheard-of about of concavity while featuring the Deco Directional design. I mean, just look at it...

Closing Thoughts
I've said it once before, but I'm going to say it again; wheels are awesome and Deco Directional wheels from Artisa are changing the wheel game forever.
It's the fact that they all turn the same direction and STILL clear big brakes, are lightweight, feature massive concavity, and are breathtaking wheel designs.
The inspiration behind every wheel design and wheel name is rooted in the most historic artists and their creations in the world. The Night, for example, was inspired by the most famous Vincent van Gogh painting, The Starry Night, featuring the stunning Picasa Blue finish.
The most important factor of them all, they tell a story and ignite a passion within each of us.
