About The XXR 555

If you have been looking for aftermarket wheels, there is no doubt that you've stumbled across XXR Wheels. Founded in 1976, XXR has paid their industry dues and they've established a reputation for pumping out wheel model after wheel model. It's pretty typical for them to come out with 6 new designs per year. The XXR 555 Category 5 has a more classic, clean design with a focus on flush fitment.

What Makes the XXR 555 So Good?

This five spoke model is a one piece wheel made of aluminum alloy. Each wheel sports a solid lip with a XXR branded center cap included. The spokes on the wheel include a small step that disappears as the spoke reaches closer to the edge of the wheel emphasizing the star shape.

What Makes the XXR 555 Special?

As mentioned, this wheel is a five spoke model with a very clean look. Although this isn't the most unique design on the market, XXR has made it their own with an indented area where the spokes meet the lip and some slight concavity around the center of the wheel itself. Each spoke is positioned deeper into the barrel and has a rounded arch design creating a noticeable amount of depth to the overall wheel.

What Sizes Does the XXR 555 Come In?

The 555 is manufactured in 17 & 18 inch sizes. The widths range from 8 to 10 inches wide. These wheels are currently offered in +25 or +35 offsets.


The finish options for the XXR 555 include Flat Black, Chromium Black with Machined Lip, and Hyper Gold with Machined Lip.

1991 Toyota Supra Turbo

While I understand this isn't a top notch brand, you'd still expect minimum standards. On all four wheels, there were defects in the manufacturing ranging anywhere from pits and ill-fills from the casting or flow process to the absolute lazy paint finish (roughness, uneven paint, flaking and even almost half the rear of the wheel just unsprayed/misted). The manufacturer Quality Control is abysmal which leads me to question what else do they ignore if all of this got through. For 200 bucks more you can find a set of enkei. Don't waste your hard earned money on XXR.

Perfect fit nice aggressive look for the 7th gen celica. I currently have them on TeiN coil overs with a 2 and a 1/2 inch drop. Rolled defenders just to be safe but but I believe it's still would have pulled it off without rolling them they look Nice and aggressive
