The Ventus V2 Concept2 is a performance all-season and provides very consistent and responsive handling and steering. This responsive feeling is a direct result of Hankook's adoption of a high-hardness bead filler.
For road conditions that are less than ideal, the Ventus V2 Concept 2 is also mud and snow rated due to its hybrid all-season design. But don't get us wrong, the Ventus V2 Concept 2 still gives drivers a taste of that sports car driving experience despite being all-season.
Is The Hankook Ventus V2 Concept 2 Loud On The Road?
When it comes to comfort and road noise, it is generally known to have a pretty low road noise level while also having a longer mileage rating which is good news for everyone. Hankook achieves this balanced performance and road noise with what they call their "Kontrol Technology". This technology is designed to give drivers a more comfortable ride and better fuel economy using a carbon rubber compound.
Are The Hankook Ventus V2 Concept 2 Directional?
As far as looks go, the tread design is pretty traditional for an all-season tire. It sports a "V" shaped, directional tread pattern with an optimal profile design. This is going to give you even road contact to avoid premature and uneven tire wear. It also features Hankook’s "Aqua Driving Control" which helps evacuate water on those rainy days. These tires are dog water. They are M+S rated but are legitimately unsafe for me to drive them in moderate rain with an AWD car. They have zero, and I mean ZERO, wet traction. Normal acceleration, wheel spin, want to turn right at a light? You better be coasting. These tires absolutely suck.

So far, one thousand miles in, they are a pretty good tire. Pretty quiet, and ride well. I will say don't forget to give them a wash with some soap of some kind prior to installing on the vehicle. They left a rubber residue ,( fine dust ) on the sides of the vehicle for a good 500 miles or so. They poke a good bit with the +35 offset wheels.. probably wouldn't have noticed if they were inside the wheel well..All in all, I like them.

These tires wont win you any track days but they seem to handle street driving just fine. this is my second set of these. I had a set for my old Cobalt SS at one point before I swapped them out to a 200 TW tire. These all seasons are good and much better priced than some of the other brands.
